Former Attack Attack frontman, Austin Carlile is back in the fold as Of Mice & Men release their new album 'The Flood' on June 14th. I can honestly say that this album is by far the best release by ANY Post-Hardcore/ mainstream band this year. The album simply rocks and the musicianship is so different from any other similar band....and Austin's vocals are absolutely stellar. I urge everyone to go out and BUY this album on 6/14....even if you already downloaded it....it's really that good. The band wears it's influences loud and proud, as I hear bits of Pantera, Chiodos, Anthrax, Machine Head, and many other powerful bands in the mix. They make it their own and what comes out is a truly original piece of heavy as hell music. This is an awesome example of not expecting too much and getting blown out of your seat.....great job Of Mice & Men!
I'll be writing a proper review for 'The Flood' in the July issue of VEGAS ROCKS! Be sure to check it out!!
